My hair is thin, and doesn't require much straitening with a normal straightener. So I thought this would be easier and healthier. It’s a compact and lightweight tool that’s great for touch-ups. It takes a few rounds to achieve the desired look, the results are smooth and natural. The cordless design is super convenient, and recharging is straightforward, making it perfect for quick, on-the-go styling sessions.
This is such an easy tool to use, very light and works as described. I have very fine, thin hair and this dried and shaped my hair in great time. Left my hair feeling soft and bouncy. Definitely would recommend.
Absolutely great for girls learning to their own hair! My daughter is 11 and uses it with ease. It straightens her THICK hair wonderfully and with such ease. The handle doesn't get hot, the way it's designed it would be pretty hard to burn yourself. It heats up extremely fast great for when you're in a hurry. It's well made and very durable. Worth the money!
The first thing that I tried to do was to straighten my hair. It didn't do so well on hair that was already pretty straight (I was looking for perfection, but my hair doesn't do perfect so well) but when I tried to straighten a section of hair that had an unintended wave (a wave left over from blow drying that wasn't supposed to still be there) it did very well and the wave was gone. But then I continued and tried to curl the ends of my hair. Wow! It did great. Even better than my large, expensive flat iron. I was so pleased. And now to the best part. When I use flat iron or a curling iron I have to be super careful because it's very easy to burn my fingers. Very, very easy. (Ask me how I know!!! Ouch!) This device seems a lot safer. The only thing that gets hot is an area under the bristles and it's almost impossible to touch this because the bristles are covering it. I managed to straighten and curl my hair without a single burn. I'm really happy with this straightening brush.
Full disclosure - I just received this and used it today for the first time. I have long, mostly straight hair. It does have a bit of wave in it and since it's often in a ponytail there is often a crease on the back of my head. I also have a weird cowlick near the crown of my head. My hair is not thick or curly. I have been using a rather expensive flat iron until today. It literally took minutes to straighten my hair. Worked so much better and faster than the flat iron. I was stunned by how well it worked. Heats up super fast and takes no time for me to achieve the look I want. Now I see how durable and long-lasting it is...but for now I couldn't be more pleased. And I do use a heat-protectant just as I did with the flat iron.
I love the fact that this is cordless and that it can be used on the go, when electricity isn't available. I couldn't wait to get started using this when I opened the box. But I'm a rule follower and it said to make sure that it is fully charged before the first use, so I waited patiently (well, maybe not so patiently) for it to fully charge. It had a 3/4 charge when it came out of the box so it didn't take very long.
